Freeport Manor

Privacy Policy

Last updated November 2, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Freeport Manor collects, uses and protects personal information about the guests we serve and the people who contact us. It applies to our text messaging programme and to the systems we use to run our property.

Information we collect

We collect only what we need to provide accommodation and support services:

  • Name, date of birth and contact details, including mobile phone number
  • Identification documents you provide at check-in
  • Stay records, including room assignment, arrival and departure dates
  • Placement and billing information relating to the agency funding your stay
  • Text messages exchanged between you and our staff
  • Whether you have consented to receive text messages from us

How we use it

We use this information to give you a room and keep your stay running: to assign and prepare your room, to arrange shuttle transport, to schedule and remind you of appointments, to respond when you contact us, to carry out maintenance, to notify you of matters affecting the property, and to bill the agency responsible for your placement.

Text messages

If you give us your mobile number and consent, we send text messages about your stay — room and check-in details, shuttle times, appointment reminders, maintenance updates, and property notices such as scheduled utility interruptions. You can reply to reach our staff directly.

You may opt out at any time by replying STOP to any message, or by telling our front desk. Reply HELP for help. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of your stay or of any service we provide.

We do not sell or share your SMS opt-in data or personal information with third parties for marketing purposes.

Who we share information with

We share information only where it is necessary: with the government agency responsible for your placement, as required to document and bill your stay; with service providers who operate our software and send our messages on our behalf, under contracts that restrict them to that purpose; and where we are required to do so by law. Mobile opt-in consent is never shared with anyone for marketing.

How long we keep it

We keep records for as long as we are required to by the agencies we work with and by law, and then dispose of them securely.

Your choices

You can ask us what information we hold about you, ask us to correct anything that is wrong, and withdraw your consent to text messages at any time. Contact us using the details below.
